Hello Pack 100! It is time for our April Pack event!

We will be meeting this Sunday, April 9th, at 12:00pm at the West Buttes Park Lot for a pack bike ride. The parking lot is right across the street from the Phoenix Zoo entrance.

Things to bring:
  1. WATER (They can bring a bike bottle, but preferably a camel back).
  2. Bike (with working brakes)
  3. Helmet (REQUIRED)
The forecast is showing a beautiful day out as of now. The trail is 3.1 miles and consists of a mostly graveled path with some areas of pavement. The initial part is a good climb (some kids may be walking their bikes), but then it is a lot downhill. This is not a technical trail, but more fun that riding a green belt path! Please double check your brakes to make sure they are in working order. If your scout does not know how to ride yet, we will have an area setup to practice their riding skills. Parents are encouraged to ride also.

NOTE: It is hard to predict how full that lot will be as this is public parking and we are not able to reserve a spot. If the lot is full, you have the ability to park in the Zoo overflow lot and bike over.

Hope to see everyone out there!
