Happy New Year Pack 100

Thanks everyone for your patience as the details for our pack hike were worked out. Here is the scoop. Our annual pack hike will take place this Saturday at the McDowell Sonoran Preserve Trails! Meet at the Lost Dog Wash Trailhead entrance near 124th street and Via Linda at1:30pm. Here is a google link to the exact meeting point.

There are parking lots right by there, but if the lots are full there is overflow parking at Anasazi School (See attached PDF).

The trails have little elevation change are not very strenuous. We are looking at a 3 mile hike (with options for just 2 miles if that is too long). The hike is expected to be finished by 4pm if there are no major delays.

Things to bring:
  • water
  • sunscreen and/or hat
  • good shoes for hiking
  • water
  • Class B t-shirt
  • snacks
  • water
We're looking forward to a fun adventure. The weather is expected to be in the mid 60's, dress accordingly (and check the weather as it gets closer). It's always a good idea to have layers that you can add or remove as needed. Did we mention to bring water?

If you have any questions, please contact your den leader and/or me. Hope everyone can make it out and we can light up the trail with our Pack 100 pride!
