Holiday Party and Caroling

Happy Holidays Pack 100 Families,

It is time for our annual Holiday Party and to spread some good cheer to our community! Please plan to join us at 1pm on December 14, at Scottsdale Presbyterian Church, to begin a fun afternoon of events. We will start in the Main Hall where scouts and siblings will be making a Christmas Ornament craft. While the craft making is going on, we will be rotating through the individual dens and taking our traditional "Santa Gilly" photos! Please have the boys wear their Class A uniforms - but Christmas accents such as Santa hats are welcome for this special occasion!

After the craft and photos are completed (we anticipate this to be approximately 2:30pm), we will carpool to the The Springs of Scottsdale Assisted Living (3212 N Miller Rd - this is just south of Osborn). Upon arrival, we will do Christmas Caroling for the elderly residents, and present them with the newly created ornaments as gifts. This should take approximately 45 minutes.

After caroling, we will head back to SPC where we can all share in a Holiday potluck! This was a lot of fun last year, so we are keeping the same format - your den leaders have probably already communicated the food item that each den has been assigned to bring, but here is a reminder if not:

Tigers: Each family please bring an APPETIZER
Wolves: Each family please bring a SALAD or SIDE DISH
Bears: Each family please bring a DESSERT
Web I and II: Each family please bring a MAIN DISH

The pack will provide drinks (tea or lemonade) and as always, please "Go Green" and plan to bring your own cups, plates and utensils!

ALSO, please remember that this event also will be ADOPT-A-FAMILY turn in! Please plan to bring your UNWRAPPED gift to SPC where Courtney will be collecting these for transport to Vista Del Camino.

We look forward to seeing everyone  - Pack 100 IS THE BEST!
