Kick-Off Meeting, September 10th

We’re a month into school and a couple weeks into the beginning of our Scouting year. That means it’s time for our annual Kick-Off event!

When:  Wednesday, September 10th -  6:30 to 7:30ish
Where: Scottsdale Presbyterian Church at Hayden and Osborn

NEW this year – the Scout Shop is going to come to us during this meeting. We need to let them know what to bring, sizing and how much, so please fill out an “order form” at the link below (you can decide not to buy this night even if you place a “pre-order”).  They can bring anything that they have at the store, so if it’s not listed in the checkboxes, just write in what you want on the bottom.  You can check out items online at www.scoutstuff.org.   Please complete the form by 2pm on Monday September 8th at this link:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1BlzDCCfe6g92rLSU4-VmFP2CMhX0MIYUkcQSUoOxcZA/viewform?usp=send_form   All payment forms will be accepted (they will write credit cards down and take back to store to process).  And, they’ll bring additional sizes on uniforms in case you guess wrong :) The store will open at about 6:10.

Registration forms are due at this meeting (for new Scouts only, returning Scouts do not fill one out). We will have them at the meeting, or you can print out the attached form and use it (you only need to complete one).

Registration fees are also due - $85 first child, $75 each additional child. Your son(s) will get his new Pack t-shirt at that time and additional shirts for siblings or parents are $10.  If you are planning to purchase a uniform at the meeting we are offering an additional two weeks to pay registration fees. If you need to make other arrangements for the fee (payments or a later date); please see Becky at the meeting. We just need to know your intention - Thanks!

Medical forms are also due by this date.  Fillable pdf here. We need one for each family member that will participate in activities.  With the medical forms, we also need a copy of your insurance card(s).
